Hey there, I'm Ally- and yes, you guessed it, I prefer Ally over the whole "Allyson" thing.
I've been a nurse practitioner for a few years now, but let me take you on a journey from where it all began. Picture this: I was a mere 15-year old diving into the world of healthcare as a dietary aide at Alexian Village. Yeah, that's right, I started right at the bottom, soaking up the experiences like a sponge. Fast forward a bit, and I found myself rocking new titles of CNA, PCT, and eventually a full-fledged registered nurse. It's like that song "Started from the Bottom," and trust me, I can hum it in my sleep.
The real turning point was when I slipped into the world of family medicine. There, I met this incredible doctor who encouraged me to follow my dreams, because he really believed in me. You know those people who just ignite that fire in you? That's what this doc did- encouraging me to chase after my goal of becoming a nurse practitioner.
Balancing full-time work with master's studies was a ride, let me tell you. But here's the deal: nursing wasn't just a career path for me, it was a lifelong calling. It's like I knew since forever that my heart belonged to nursing, and above all, to make my patients feel safe and snug.
Listening is my jam.. I want to listen to you, really listen, and show you that you're not just another face in the crowd. Each person I see is unique, and not a number on a chart. Making a difference is what I am all about. And the dream? Owning my own practice was always on the list. With the support of my incredible family and patients, it's becoming real. When not on duty, I'm with family, exercising, exploring the outdoors, or savoring a good glass. Life's about balance, right?
I can't wait to meet you and be a part of your journey!

Hello to all of you amazing, beautiful people! I’m so happy to share a little bit about myself with you.
I am a first-generation Polish American, and I want to thank the social media world for helping me feel a little less alone in the traumas of Slavic culture while also adding a sparkle of humor along the way. I can honestly say, “I had a different life before I was here.”
Throughout my journey, I’ve discovered passions that bring me joy and fulfillment, including flying planes, horseback riding, indulging in fine cuisine, and exploring fashion. Most importantly, I cherish the time I spend with the kiddos who call me Mom and the family I have created.
Today, we have the opportunity to speak more openly about mental health, allowing us to grow, heal, and become better versions of ourselves. I strive to create an atmosphere of safety, compassion, and understanding because life happens every day, and it is our right to fully engage in each moment.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in healthcare and three years of focused experience in psychiatry. My goal is to provide comfort during uncomfortable situations, and I am committed to helping my patients achieve the best possible outcomes through medication management and psychotherapy.
It takes strength and courage to recognize the challenges that impact our daily lives. So, take a moment to envision yourself 20 years from now. If you could go back and tell your younger self something, what would it be?
